Die typografische Gestaltung entspricht derjenigen im Buch mit Ausnahme der Seitennummerierung (Buch S. 7-8, Specimen S. 8-9). – Prospekt: ​​Publikationsankündigung dieser Ausgabe, Auflistung der Varianten der Normal- und Luxusausgaben, Einbandvarianten und Preise. Auf der letzten Seite Liste der bis anhin erschienenen Publikationen der Presse. Gedruckt in Bodonis Inglese Sopracanoncino auf Fabriano-Bütten. – Sehr vereinzelte kleine Stockflecken, Ränder und Ecken kaum knittrig, letzte Seite des Prospekts stellenweise gebräunt. Das Buch in einwandfreiem Zustand, Einband an den Kanten minimst berieben wegen des sehr eng gearbeiteten Schubers, letzterer an einer Längskante zur Hälfte angeplatzt. ¶ 4to. 4 leaves, 74 (6) pp., 4 leaves. Orig. red vellum, gilt device on front cover, gilt lettering on spine. In original slipcase. One of 224 copies on Fabriano laid paper with the Bodoni watermark, of a total of 230, printed with the original Cancelleresco types by Giambattista Bodoni. – Inlaid: Specimen and Prospectus, each single folded as 4 pages in the size of the book. – Specimen: Printed in black (text) and red (title and printer’s device). On the last page, all other publications issued so far are listed. Printed in Bodoni’s Inglese Sopracanoncino on Fabriano laid paper. - A few traces of light foxing, edges and corners with minor creasing, staining of the final page of the prospectus. The book in perfect condition, except some minor loss of color at the edges of the binding, due to the very narrow slipcase (latter partly bounced).
